The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum is a museum located in Geneva. It first opened in 1988 and underwent a significant renovation in from 2011 to 2013.

Musée Rath

The Musée Rath is an art museum in Geneva, used exclusively for temporary exhibitions. It is the oldest purpose-built art museum in Switzerland. It is located on Place Neuve, in front of the old city walls, next to the Grand Théâtre and near the Conservatoire de Musique.

The collection is the only one of its kind in Switzerland.

Barbier-Mueller Museum

The Barbier-Mueller Museum, founded in 1977, is located at 10 rue Jean-Calvin, in Geneva, Switzerland. Its collection contains over 7,000 pieces and includes works of art from Tribal and Classical antiquity as well as sculptures, fabrics and ornaments from “primitive” civilizations around the world. Its goal is to preserve, study, and publish the collection begun by Josef Mueller in 1907 and carried on by his daughter Monique and son-in-law Jean Paul Barbier-Mueller.

Natural History Museum of Geneva

The Natural History Museum of Geneva is a natural history museum in Geneva, Switzerland. Louis Jurine’s collections of Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera and Hemiptera are held by the museum. The museum also contains a collection of intricate glass models of invertebrates by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka and a two headed tortoise named Janus.

Musée d'Art et d'Histoire

The Musée d’Art et d’Histoire is the largest art museum in Geneva, Switzerland. The fine art section has paintings from the middle Ages to the 20th century, with works by the Italian, Dutch, French, English, Genevan and Swiss Schools. The best-known painting is The Miraculous Draught of Fishes (1444) by Konrad Witz, contained in Witz’s St. Peter Altarpiece.

International Museum of the Reformation

The MIR (International Museum of the Reformation) was founded in 2005 with the aim of showcasing the living history of Geneva and the Reformation. As such, it tells the story of both an idea and an ambition. In the 16th century, John Calvin set out to turn Geneva into a model for a new way of living the Christian life, to serve as an example to the world.

Institut et Musée Voltaire

The Institut et Musée Voltaire is a museum in Geneva dedicated to the life and works of Voltaire. The museum is housed in Les Délices, which was Voltaire’s home from 1755 until 1760. It contains about 25,000 volumes on Voltaire and the 18th century as well as a collection of paintings and prints from the period, many depicting Voltaire, his relatives and acquaintances.

Cathedrale de St-Pierre

The St. Pierre Cathedral is a cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland, today belonging to the Reformed Protestant Church of Geneva. It is known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. It was begun under Arducius de Faucigny, the prince-bishop of the Diocese of Geneva, around 1160.

UNOG - Palais des Nations

The United Nations Office at Geneva is the second-largest of the four major office sites of the United Nations. It is located in the Palais des Nations building constructed for the League of Nations between 1929 and 1938 at Geneva in Switzerland, and expanded in the early 1950s and late 1960s.

Maison Tavel

Maison Tavel is a unique testimony of medieval civil architecture in Switzerland. Destroyed by fire in 1334, it was rebuilt by the Tavel family of the Geneva nobility, which gave the house its character as a fortified mansion and urban palace.
